A proud representant of the Polish blade scene, Hedonskate team rider Tomek Przybylik has been all around Europe this year, attending contests in Spain, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Sweden, England, and some more, and seeing how hard the former Summerclash AM champion goes on them skates, it is no surprise he managed to score solid results everywhere too!
After repping the Freedom Of Feet concept for many years, however, the Remz team rider released a brand new edit on USD’s Aeon skates just a few days ago. As Tomek states that “After using the 72mm version of the Aeons, there is no coming back“, we caught up with the 22-year-old ripper and inspected his new weapon of choice: time for a little Blade Check with Tomo!

Soul Plates: All USD Aeon!
Backslide Plate: Still Aeon ahah!
Describe your personal blade setup:
I’m skating USD Aeons – mostly the 72mm version but I also use the 60mm version from time to time – easily the most innovative idea and new approach to skate design! We have waited so long for the proper FLAT frame – USD took one step further and came up with a SKATE dedicated to flat setups – that’s what we needed!
What parts do you wear through the quickest:
Always wheels – I`m trying to blade every day – and even the strongest wheels wear out if you skate a lot. Flat setups make it not such a big problem anymore since the wear is slower, yet the part I’m changing the most is the wheels still.
What part do you break most often:
Bearings & buckles. Usually, I destroy buckles while doing cess slides or landing on stairs, etc.
Which parts are you paranoid about breaking:
I used to be paranoid about losing UFS screws or frame bolts yet now the problem disappeared completely thanks to the Unibody concept of the skates. I trust them 100%!
What spares/tools do you keep in your backpack:
Allen key is always in my backpack somewhere but that`s it.
Where do your parts go once you are done with them?
Usually, I give them away to my homies.
Flat or Freestyle:
FLAT! I used to skate Anti-rocker and it was OK, but after using the 72mm version of the Aeons there is NO coming back – Aeons let me do all the tricks and I get extra speed and stability – everyone should at least give them a try!
Anything you plan to change on your current setup?
No, I think my skates are perfect right now.
Do you skate different setups for different terrain?
No, actually I’m skating on 72’s everywhere.
What was your very first skate setup?
Roces Orlando, but my first aggressive skates were the kid’s version of USD’s Classic Thrones.
What was the best setup you’ve had to date?
Aeons have been my ultimate setup so far – you can`t go wrong with these. The most versatile skates ever.
Could you describe your dream setup?
I would love to have all-black USD Aeons with red details and wheels ahah!
