Wondering where in the hell we've been? Well, we've been really busy in the earthly paradise known as Roskilde, enjoying the non-stop concerts & never-ending party. And when it all did stop eventually, we rode way too many trains and slept way too few hours in order to make it back home in one piece, exhausted but the happiest we've been in a long time nonetheless!
Ain't too hard to explain how these last three days went by so fast: with roughly 20 shows in just about 72 hours, I spent more time listening to live music than on any other activity, including the less interesting acts of eating, sleeping, or doing any sort of media update. I am no music expert either, and since reviewing every gig I attended would bore you all to death anyway, I'll just throw a couple of names in here so you know what you've missed, and why coming here next year shouldn't even be a question anymore: Dead Can Dance, Turbonegro, Of Monsters And Men, Bobby Womack, Rihanna, Suuns, Crystal Castle, Efterklang, Joey Bada$$, Indians, The National, Metallica, Sigur Ros, James Blake, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Kid Koala, Queens Of The Stone Age, and last but not least, Kraftwerk for the final show on Sunday night. I probably forgot a few more bands, but I'd say it's not that bad for just a couple days, or is it?
That's it, but that's not all, since we have a couple more special updates in mind, along with my partner in crime. And I'm sure you'll like these ones... So stay tuned! Signing out, Captain Strosi and Lieutenant White.
