The 6th morning starts slow and it takes a little while for your brain to turn on. An inebriated 5 a.m. session didn’t really help either. Thankfully, Kaspars Alksnis still puts in incredible work and manages to capture some more great photographs on his last day before heading back to Latvia. You try to ignore the exhaustion and rely on power naps and white wine to keep you going, a proven recipe on the heavenly grounds of Roskilde Festival!
“You try to ignore the exhaustion and rely on power naps and white wine to keep you going.”
The music starts with the Tallest Man on the Arena stage before you catch some fresh air and enjoy a little walk on your way to hear Gaslamp with a Killer Experience. You then catch two Glorious songs with Lydia Ainsworth and hear Kendrick Lamar in the background while you run from one stage to the other. You encounter some technical issues with Einstürzende Neubauten, so you Run for The Jewels and the punkest hip hop you will hear today.
The bouncer lets you in and you join the largest disco club on the planet, as Disclosure puts on their dancing shoes. The dancing carries on as you join the blader’s rave with GOAT in the land of Avalon, before Mew‘s emotional performance on the festival’s beautiful Orange stage. More than enough to call it a day, and fall asleep before the sun rises for once. To read what happens once the sun rises again, check back tomorrow for the final chapter of our Live Updates!
